SALARY: £26,200.00 per annum

Job description:

As a carpenter, the candidate is responsible for building, setting up, installing, and fixing wooden/plywood or wallboard structures and fixtures used inside and outside buildings or structures. They also cut, shape, fit, and assemble wood to create models, tools, scenic equipment, fancy structure, etc.

Entry Requirements of this Job:

The minimum requirement for this job is that the candidate must possess a BTEC/SQA award or A levels or equivalent qualification. However, experience in working in similar positions for long periods will be considered and preferred.

Tasks required by this job include:

● Reviewing drawings and specifications to understand the job requirements.

● Choosing the appropriate type of wood and measuring it accurately.

● Using a variety of tools, such as saws, planes, chisels, and power tools to cut, shape, and drill the wood as per the specifications.

● Connecting the prepared wooden pieces by using screws, nails, glue, or dowels to form different structures such as frames, furniture, shop fronts, counter units, theatrical sets, small wooden crafts, scale models, and wooden templates.

● Checking the precision of the work by using tools like square, rule, and spirit level.

● Maintaining and repairing woodwork and fittings as required.

● Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying the trueness of structures.

● Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.

● Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.

● Cutting wood joints

MAINTENANCE MANAGER

VACANT: 2 POSITIONS

SALARY: £26,600.00  per annum

Job Description:
Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep and repair of
various buildings and structures. The candidate is required to maintain all
building structure and repair or alter or construct if necessary. His
responsibility also includes coordinating and supervising the maintenance
staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure that maintenance work is
completed on time and within budget.

Tasks required by this job include:
● Maintaining and repairing building structures if necessary or to supervise the builder to carry on maintenance work.
● Checking and putting on diving suit and equipment to carry out
construction, maintenance and repair tasks on sites.
● Developing and implementing maintenance programs for all buildings
and structures under their supervision.
● Inspecting buildings and structures regularly to identify any
maintenance needs or safety issues.
● Developing and managing a budget for maintenance activities,
including materials, equipment, and labour costs.
● Planning and scheduling maintenance activities to minimize
disruptions to building occupants and operations.
● Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including
work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory levels.
● Responding to emergency maintenance requests and ensuring that urgent repairs are completed promptly.
● Ensuring that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with relevant regulations and building codes.

BUSINESS SUPPORT MANAGER

VACANT: 1 POSITION

SALARY: £26,400.00 per annum

Job description:

In the role of Business Support Manager, your responsibilities will include

aiding the operation manager in executing policies, generating reports, and

creating presentations. Additionally, you will take charge of scheduling

inspections and travel, and when necessary, recording minutes and tracking

essential tasks for the team.

Entry requirements of this job:

Entry will usually require GCSEs/S grades, but other

academic qualifications and relevant experience are also acceptable if possible.

However, previous experience of similar work is preferred.

Tasks required by this job include to:

● Create work schedules, distribute tasks, and assign responsibilities to

the team to conduct inspections and generate reports.

● Review and revise reports and documents as necessary, checking for

errors, inconsistencies, and clarity.

● Manage administrative tasks to support both the central team and the

client.

● Communicate and collaborate with internal and external resources or

clients.

● Assist with establishing and maintaining consistent training

standards.

This will involve planning, advertising, and organizing events to effectively reach the company’s target clients and raise awareness of its offers and sales information.
